MRC, founded in 1933, is one of the world's largest producers of High Purity Methacrylic Monomers. Its products range from Methyl Methacrylate, where it is the largest producer in Asia, to highly specialised monomers such as fluorinated Methacrylates.

MRC has pioneered the development of highly reactive and crosslinkable monomers such as Glycidyl Methacrylate, Allyl Methacrylate and Ethylene Glycol Dimethacrylate and specialises in offering high Tg, Low Colour Methacrylates such as Isobornyl (IBXMA), Cyclohexyl (CHMA), and tert-Butyl Methacrylates (TBMA). 

A separate Division, MRC Unitec offers a number of specialty derivatives of Acrylamide and Methacrylamide and is currently developing a new line of Cationic Monomers based on Methacrylic and Methacrylamide functionalities.
