APAO Polymers
Huntsman's REXtac® APAO polymers are readily used in both filling and flooding compounds for telecommunications cables. Key properties of moisture resistance and specific adhesion prevent damaging water penetration, while various melt viscosity levels aid in application and coating speeds.
Compatibility with Petrolatum, waxes, polybutene and other polymers, coupled with exceptional production flexibility and consistency makes REXtac® APAO an excellent material for demanding wire and cable applications.
